Events Happening in March

Celebrating Dr. Seuss’Birthday
March 2nd – 7th  (Monday – Thursday 6 pm – 7:30 pm; Saturday 10:30 am – 1:30 pm) Come to the library to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday. There will be stories and crafts through the week.
 
Sit-n-Stich
Saturday, March 14th at 11 am  come bring your knitting or crochet project. If you are a beginner and would like to knit or crochet Gloria C will be available to help you. A great time to socialize and see other people’s projects and get new ideas. Yarn and needles are available.  Will contine to Sit-n-Stich the 2nd Saturday of the month.
 
Library Board Meeting
Monday, March 16th at 6:30 pm at the library. Meeting are open to the public. Meetings are held every 
 
Game Day
Saturday, March 21st at 11 am  we will be having Game Day hosted by Dorene Ireland. The Family Resource Network is partnering with us. Join us for an afternoon of fun and laughter for the whole family. Snacks will be provided. A craft to make your own game. The event is free but registration is required. Watch for our post & flyer on Facebook about Game Day to get instructions on how to register.
 
Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 28th at 11am in the Community Field we will have our annual Easter Egg Hunt for ages 1 year to 12 years old. Please bring your own basket. There will be paper bags available if you don’t have a basket. Each child will get a free book and there will be prizes in the Easter eggs for each age group. (1yr-4yrs) (5yrs-8yrs) (9yrs-12yrs). After the Easter Egg Hunt you can visit The House of Consignment (214 Main St.) and get a free photo with the Easter Bunny. He will be there until 2pm.
